We are proud to welcome people from all backgrounds to our Saffron Slam events. Unlike most Warhammer event providers, we don't put age limits on our events and are more than happy if younger members of our community would like to attend and compete at our events. We have invested in NSPCC Safeguarding training for our Safeguarding Lead, we will DBS check our volunteers, and we will ensure they are absolutely clear on how they should respond to any concerns raised.

To accompany this, we have produced the below policy and guidance documents to share the work we have done to make our events as safe as possible for young people or vulnerable adults. To be as transparent as possible, some of the various forms and other documents you can expect to see associated with Safeguarding at Saffron Slam events are shared below too.

Whilst we have completed all of this work, we will never be able to get away from the fact that our events are attended by a number of adult members of the public who will not have been vetted in any way prior to the event. In addition, the event halls will be fully open to the public to come along and see what's going on at the Saffron Slam. As such, we cannot accept any legal responsibility for young or vulnerable people at our events, and so we do recommend that their legal guardian/parent remain with those individuals at all times.

If you have any queries about our Safeguarding policies, please send these to elmominiatures@outlook.com and we'll be pleased to help however we can.
